No Tricks, Just Treats!

Today we found 43 cents and 46 bottles and cans.

As we wind down toward the end of the month, I look back at the year so far with 2 months remaining. It’s really been amazing with the amounts of money, bottles and cans, and other interesting finds we’ve come across, especially in light of the location were in. The Sanford/Springvale is far from a big metropolitan area, in fact, it’s more like 2 small towns lumped together into one. I do enjoy advantages though of the wide-open countryside and the vast open spaces that brought me here. There’s something to be said for being comfortable and relaxed in your environment, and everyday I wake up, I live it first hand.

Money finds – We were able to find plenty of treats today on our coin finding ventures. Michele went out for her morning walk as usual and found one penny on Mill St. Later, I was out for my run and came across a penny on Payne.

When Michele came home from work she had 1 cent with her that she found at school. She also found 1 penny on her run near the Fire Station on Oak Street. The rest of the coins were found on the evening walk. We snagged 24 cents at the car wash (2 dimes and 4 penny). Then, at the high school we found an additional 10 cents (2 nickels). We then found 2 pennies on Main Street, 2 pennies at the 7-11 and one in the skateboard park.

Good Night and Good Hunting!
