Adding To The Fund!

Today we found 31 cents and 56 bottles and cans.

Though not as windy today, there was still a pretty strong gale blowing at times. It made my run that much more difficult, but, like the trooper that I am, I battled the winds to complete my run, which by the way netted me 2 cents along the way. Both of the pennies were found on Allen Street. Michele was able to score a dime on her early morning walk and is happy about daylight savings. She has plenty of light now to recover any coins she might come across.

During her run in the afternoon, Michele picked up an additional 2 cents. The first came on Grove Street and then one penny on King. The evening walk proved to be profitable as well. At the car wash we found 3 pennies in and around the vacuum islands. Next, at the Cumberland Farms, we found in a penny in the parking lot. We also found single pennies at the 7-11, the karate studio, and one at the Sunnyside Restaurant.
