Rainy Day Sunday
Today we found 44 cents and 7 bottles and cans.
We had plenty of rain of overnight and in to the afternoon, which usually makes for good coin hunting. It certainly didn’t start out that way though. I went out for a 5 mile run around 2 pm or so and while I doing that Michele took Lexi for a walk. Her efforts yielded only 2 pennies, one on Whitham and one penny at the 7-11. I didn’t get anything on the run.
The evening walk was where we did most the damage. We found 3 pennies on Main, then 23 cents at the high school, one dime and 13 pennies. Then, at the car wash we picked up 2 pennies and 4 pennies at Cumberland Farms. The final find came in the form of a dime that was found at the hannaford’s supermarket where I stopped to pick up a couple of things.
