Hi-Ho Silver!

Today we found 20 cents and 44 bottles and cans.

What started out to be a good day fizzled out by evening. Michele did most of the damage on a short walk with Lexi (had a field hockey clinic to attend) in the morning. Her first find came at the parking across from the library on Main in the form of a penny. After that she picked up a nickel and another penny on Mill, a dime on cash corner (Pleasant) and one penny in the rite aid parking lot.

I did a couple of walks during the day, the first was at 12:30 and was about 50 minutes long, but I didn’t find anything. Later, on the evening walk with Lexi, I netted one penny at Cumberland farms and one penny at the car wash.

Side note – in addition to our coin and bottle finds I did also pick up a brand new oversized beanie baby, a white cat named silver. Looks like the previous owner had set it out on the island while doing some cleaning and left it behind. I’ll just add it to yard sale items.
