A Well Run Dry....

Today we found 6 cents in change and 82 bottles and cans.

It looks as though our run of good fortune has come to an end. It’s possible that the town street sweeper might have had a little to do with it, but overall, coins were pretty hard to come by.

During my run I found a penny on Harris Street. It was near the intersection of Payne on the ground. I also found one penny cooling down on Main. The remaining 4 cents were found on the evening walk. First, we found 2 pennies at the car wash near the vacuum areas, then we found 1 penny in the 7-11 parking lot and one penny at Luigi’s Pizza. Bottles and cans were plentiful, however, which offset the slow day of coin finding.

Sidebar – Felix Hernandez pitched a magnificent game against the sox tonight twirling a one-hitter and spoiling dice-k’s homecoming, who pitched pretty well, himself, but you just have to tip your hat and move on. That’s what I’m going to do.

Good Night and Good Hunting!
