We're Talking Baseball!

Today we found 48 cents in change and 39 bottles and cans

Three words to describe the day: cold, damp, and dreary. At least it was the opening of the baseball season, too bad the red sox served up a stinker in Kansas City. Schilling couldn’t find his control and the royals jumped all over him. One game down and 161 games to go.

Money Report – Michele snagged a single penny on her walk this morning. She found it on Mill Street. A little bit later I found 2 pennies on my run. Both coins were also found on Mill Street. The evening walk chipped in another 45 cents (1 quarter, 1 dime, 1 nickel, and 5 pennies). We recovered 4 pennies from the high school, 26 cents from the car wash, 1 nickel at the skateboard park and a dime next to Springvale Hardware.

Sidebar – yesterday was the fiscal year end for bottles totals.
