Red Sox and Barrettes!

Today we found 95 cents in change and 26 bottles and cans.

The Red Sox opened up at home for the first time this year returning from a 3-3 road trip that took them through Kansas City and Texas. They bombed the Mariners 14-3 behind Josh Beckett (now 2-0). I think the Mariners were still in hibernation though as they hadn’t played since last Wednesday due to a 4 game snow-out at Cleveland. Still, I feel pretty good about the win and look forward dice-k tomorrow!

Money Report – Michele was the first to record a find with a single penny she found in the halls at school. On the evening walk though we came up with 94 cents (3 quarters, 1 dime, 1 nickel, and 4 pennies). The first of the finds came on Main Street in the form of 2 pennies, both found about 50 yards away from one another. At the car wash we pocketed 76 cents. The 3 quarters were resting on the top of a vacuum island while the penny was on the ground nearby. Then, on our way up Main Street we snagged another penny just past Key Bank and finally, we added a dime from the rite aid parking lot. In addition, we found a couple barrettes and a decent amount of bottles and cans.

Good Night and Good Hunting!
