The Aftermath....

Today we found 25 cents in change and 9 bottles and cans.

Man oh man what a mess we have up here after the snowstorm. There’s a ton of tree limbs down and many folks lost power, too. We did lose cable for a short while but everything’s up and running now. While I’m not really enthused about this latest round of snow, it does have it’s own magical charm as you can see from the pictures, kind of like a winter scene postcard.


Money Report – While we did get 10 inches of snow here, we did have some success finding coins. Michele found 12 cents during her run (1 dime and 2 pennies). The first penny was found on Mill Street and the other 11 cents came on Howard. I also found a penny on my run scooping it up on Allen Street.

The evening walk was equally productive adding another 12 cents to the cause (1 dime and 2 pennies). We found one penny at the car wash, one penny at Springvale Hardware and a dime in the 7-11 parking lot.
