Patience Pays Off!

Today we found 45 cents and 21 bottles and cans.

Friday was yet another day of good coin hunting though for most of the day it didn’t seem like it. Michele got shutout on her early morning walk with Lexi. Then, running errands, I got shutout at the Cumberland Farms while getting gas, the post office while mailing packages and grocery shopping at Demoulas in Somersworth.

We finally broke the ice so to speak on our run. Michele was going out for a 3-miler and I decided to join her. During our trek we picked up one penny on Main Street right in front of the Village consignment shop. The rest of our bounty came via the evening walk. We found 10 cents at the car wash (1 dime). At the high school we netted 8 cents (1 nickel and 3 pennies). Then on Main we found 26 cents (1 quarter and one penny). The penny was found near Miller Ford and the quarter we recovered at the intersection between Oak and Main.
