Avoiding The Shutout!
Today we found 2 cents and 102 bottles and cans.
Coins were a rare commodity today in our ongoing quest of changing finding. Michele did find one penny on her morning walk with Lexi and one nice looking marble as well. However, things got considerably harder after that point. Michele didn’t find anything at work. Her run turned up zero and my run netted the same. The evening walk didn’t prove to be a whole lot better as we only found a single penny in the Nasson College parking lot. On the positive side of things, we did collect a fair number of bottles and cans to take the sting out of the low coin find totals. Some days you get the bear, some days the bear gets you.
Sidebar – With today’s total of bottles and cans, we officially crossed the 13,000 mark for the year and the 23,000 mark all-time.
