Holding Down The Fort!

Today we found 54 cents and 240 bottles and cans.

Most of the day I was alone on the quest for money and returnables. The Acton is fair is going on right now until Sunday so I was hoping that the passersby would be donating to the cause. While I did have some good luck with the bottles and cans, the coins came hard. In fact, my only find, up until the evening walk was a single penny found on Mill Street during my walk with Lexi.

When Michele got back from Cony, she had 11 cents, a dime and a penny which were found around the fields. Looks like the team is rounding into shape though and hopefully they’ll get off to good start. Time will tell, as it’s a young team.

The rest of the coin finds came on our evening walk. Heading down Main Street we found 11 cents, both by the Home Plate restaurant, then we hit the car wash and found a 2 dimes, a nickel and 4 pennies. The last 2 pennies came from the 7-11. When we got home I fired up the grill for some burgers. Michele said it was good to be home.

Good Night and Good Hunting!
