Black Friday!
Today we found 92 cents in coin and 27 bottles and cans.
It seems that the residents of Springvale/Sanford were in big hurry to hit the Black Friday sales this morning because they left lots of change on the streets. Michele had a field day on her early morning walk with Lexi coming up 72 cents. The majority of it came on Mill Street where she found 2 quarters, 1 dime and 3 pennies. She also found 8 cents on Pleasant Street (1 nickel and 3 pennies).
We did manage to do a little shopping as well during the afternoon. We picked up a chop saw at the home depot plus a couple of sets of the new led Christmas lights. They use 80-90 less electricity than the standard set of lights. I did also find 3 pennies throughout the store while browsing. We also found a penny at Walmart while picking up some dog food, too.
The evening walk gave us another 16 cents. We snagged a dime on Main Street next to the Sherwin Williams, then we found another 2 cents at the car wash. The final 4 pennies came via the 7-11. They were scattered about in the parking lot.
