Sunday Reflections!

Today we found 46 cents and 114 bottles and cans.

There was still a hint of a hangover today for Michele. She’s bummed out over her team’s loss in the first round of the playoffs. I explained to her that it’s difficult to swallow, but, that the team made great strides this year and I predict will be even better next year. Still, it was hard for her to hide the disappointment of the season being over.

Okay, on to more cheery news – Michele finally broke out of her money finding drought with 22 cents on her morning walk with Lexi. She snagged 12 cents at the high school (1 dime and 2 pennies), 8 cents and the Depot (1 nickel and 3 pennies), and single penny finds on Harris Street and the 7-11.

The evening walk turned out to be profitable, too. We picked up 2 pennies in the rite aid parking lot, and 2 dimes and 2 pennies and the car wash. The mother load bottles came primarily of the ssya field, which hosted the Sunday peewee football games.

Good Night and Good Hunting!
