A Post Christmas Present!

Today we found 7 cents in change and 59 bottles and cans.

As of December 29th, we’ve only received about 2 inches of snow so far, but it looks as though we might get one or two inches tomorrow when a weak front moves through. One thing’s for sure though, it was downright cold today. The high temp only reached 29 and there was a light wind at times, making it feel much colder. It’s nice and cozy inside though with the wood stove cranking out the heat!

Money Report – coins were hard to come by today, probably because not too many ventured outside on a bone-chilling day. Michele was able to hit pay-dirt with 3 cents on the early morning walk with Lexi. All 3 coins were found in the rite aid parking. A little later on she found a single penny on her run. The remaining 3 pennies were found on the evening walk. The first 2 came via the car wash, where we also came across a nice Pierre Cardin Tie and a cute little Christmas Bear (Lexi thought the bear was a new toy for her). The final penny was recovered at the 7-11, a real beat-up specimen that had probably been there for quite some time.
