Weekend Update and Merry Christmas!

Things are starting to return to normal as we recover from the sudden and tragic loss of a loved one. Michele is dealing with it in the best way possible, and knows it was all for the best in the end. That didn’t make it any easier for her to accept it though. As with all things, time will help the wounds heal.

Money update – I’m going to lump the last 3 days into one for the sake of efficiency.

Saturday we found 13 cents in change and 60 bottles and cans.

Michele found a dime on her walk with Lexi in the morning; it was by the Mousam Trail. I don’t really remember where the other 3 cents were found though.

Sunday – We found 27 change and 12 bottles and cans.

Michele scored one penny on her walk with Lexi. It came on Mill Street. The rest of the loot came via the evening walk. The 26 cents were found at the car wash in the form of one 1 dime, 1 nickel and 11 pennies. We also had a pretty good haul of bottles and cans as well.

Monday – We found 25 cents in change and another 12 bottles and cans.

Michele found a dime on Payne Street. Then she came up with 2 pennies on her run. The first was located on Oak Street and the second was found on King. The evening walk netted us another 13 cents; we found one penny in the rite aid parking lot, 11 cents at the car wash (1 dime, and 1 penny), and one penny on Main Street.

Sidebar – We’ll be away for the next day and a half attending the wake and funeral for Michele’s father. Merry Christmas and happy holidays to everyone!
