A Profitable Wednesday!

Today we found 60 cents in change and 16 bottles and cans.

It looks as though November is going out with a bang. We continue to have good luck finding loose change and returnables, but haven’t much else interesting to report. Still, I’ll take the money and the bottles and cans for the fund.

Money scorecard – Michele was the first to get on the board with a dime she found at school walking out to her car in the parking lot. She’s found quite a few coins that way. The remaining 50 cents of coin finds came on the evening walk. First, we found 25 cents at the car wash (2 dimes and 5 pennies). Then, as we headed up Main Street on our way home, Michele spotted a very dark quarter in a driveway. She caught the outline of the coin at just the right angle and the rest is history. I’ve been calling her eagle eye for quite some time. Now you know why!
