Almost Like Spring!

Today we found 17 cents and 17 bottles and cans.

It was another delightful day with temps in the mid 50’s. If I didn’t know any better I might have thought we were heading into spring instead of winter. I know it’s not going to last but it sure was fun running in shorts and a t-shirt!

Money update – Michele found 11 cents on her run this afternoon. The first coin, a penny, was found on Sherburne Street, and then she found a dime on Oak. The evening walk produced another 5 cents, all pennies. We found 2 cents in the rite aid parking lot, 2 cents at the car wash and one penny in the 7-11 parking lot. The final contribution to the total was made via Hannaford’s supermarket. I found a penny heading out the door for the parking lot.

Over and Out!

Money totals for 2006 – 210.66
Money totals since Jan. 2005 – 329.01

Bottle and Can totals for 2006 – 13,485 – 674.25
Bottle and Can totals since Jan. 2005 – 23,507 – 1,175.35

Hi Brian, yup, it seems that the winters, particularly last winter, are becoming especially mild. Pretty soon I'll need to get out the suntan lotion.

Best,

Jim
