A Small Fortune!
Today we found 41 cents and 50 bottles and cans.
Most of the coin finding damage was done on the morning walk. Michele was out with Lexi when she came across a small hoard of pennies, 30 to be exact. They were scattered about on the ground near a giant caldron that marks one of the entrances to the Mousam Trail. During my run I picked up 1 dime next to the courthouse.
The rest of the afternoon was spent watching Michele’s field hockey game against Westbrook, who they lost to 3-1. They were missing a couple of players though. When I got back home I did take Lexi for an evening but got shutout in the search for coins. I did have good luck with a nice quantity of returnables though. Michele picked up one penny on her evening run to round out the total.
