More Rain, More coins!

Today we found 36 cents and 82 bottles and cans.

While about half the day was dry, the rain showed up around noon and continues as I write this entry. I’m sure it had some effect on our change finding capabilities but as a change finder, you have to deal with the elements, and sometimes, the rain enhances our totals. I would say that was not the case today, but we did come up with a decent amount of coin for our efforts.

Michele found a total of 17 cents on her walk with Lexi. The first 11 cents came at the Depot, in the parking lot. Then, she found a nickel in a washout on River Street. The last coin, a penny, was found in the rite aid parking lot. On my run, a six-miler I found a total of one penny, which also came on River Street. It always kills me that my longest run usually yields the least change, go figure. We also came up with 11 cents on our run to Walmart to purchase dog food for pup pup. Both coins (1 dime and 1 penny) were found near the checkout isles.

Finally, on our evening walk, which started at the ssya field, we found a total of 7 cents. 6 cents were found in and about the field and 1 penny came from the car wash.

Good Night and Good Hunting!
