Turning Colder….

Today we found 1.22 in change and 28 bottles and cans.

After a string of pleasant, warmer than normal days, our return to January type weather is imminent. While it did reach about 40 degrees, there was a strong wind, and it’s quite chilly right now with more of the same over the next couple of days.

Change finds – it was another remarkable day of coin finding in the Springvale/Sanford area. I got things started with the recovery of a penny on Mill Street. I also picked up a coke cap; we’ve been finding quite a few of them lately. The evening walk continues to be our heavy hitter for currency, though. At the car wash we found 77 cents (3 quarters and 2 pennies). One of the quarters and both pennies were found near the vacuum stations. The other 2 quarters were on a ledge near the insert slot in the self-serve bay. Next, walking through the 7-11 parking lot we snagged a dime. The remaining 35 cents were found in a parking space near the china lau (great food by the way). The 35-cent total was in the form of 3 dimes and 1 nickel.

Good Night and Good Hunting!

I know, it's been pretty profitable lately. We're enjoying the ride while it lasts.

Best,

Jim
