Today we found 1.01 in change and 9 bottles and cans.
The word of the day “quarter”, at least that’s what we’re calling it. Of the 5 five coins we found today, 4 of them were of the 25 cent variety. I found the first one during my run, a single quarter lying all by itself on Pleasant Street, in-between Weeman and Sherburne. The other 3 quarters along with the lone penny were found on the evening walk. The first 51 cents were discovered at the car wash. Both of the quarters and the one penny were on the ground near a vacuum station near one another. The last quarter was found on Main Street next to the hair salon, close to Luigi’s. We had previously found 3 other coins there in recent walks and this one was laying on top of some sand, probably got washed out by the heavy rains last night and this morning.
