More Snow Falling!

Today we found 25 cents in change and 15 bottles and cans.

As I’m writing this entry, outside there’s more snow falling. After making it through the last couple of bone-chilling days, I’ll take the snow because it brings the warmer temps with it. In fact, the forecast for Southern Maine is 3 to 6 inches but we’re right on the rain line so it could be less. Central and Northern parts are gearing up for the major amounts. Nevertheless, it is winter and the arrival of snow is like a rite of passage, bringing its magic—its clean, pure coat of white to officially mark the season.

Money Report – There isn’t much to talk about with regard to our coin finding adventures today. The lone coin that was found came from the car wash. It was in the dollar changer slot just behind the little flap that keeps the coins from popping out. I spied it with my handy-dandy headlamp. I probably would have missed it otherwise, so the payback on this item is already earning its keep.

Good Night and Good Hunting!
