3 Dimes And 6 Pennies!

Today we found 36 cents in change and 12 bottles and cans.

It was another cold one the streets of Springvale/Sanford today. Fortunately, temps are on the way up, at least for the next couple of days and then a possible snowstorm, though the weathermen are still undecided on exactly how much we might get. They always through in the comment, “it’s still to early to tell”. Translation: We’re not really sure what’s going to happen!

Loose Change – Most of our coin finding damage was done by Michele, she’s been a bit of coin magnet and was in the zone today. First, she found 20 cents at work (2 dimes). Then on run she found another dime on Witham Street. On the evening walk I found a total of 6 cents (all pennies). Four of the coins were found at the car wash on the ground in and around the vacuum stations. I also snagged one penny in the rite aid parking lot and one penny in the 7-11 parking.

Sidebar – I tried out my new headlamp I got for Christmas out on the roads, though it’s main purpose is for hiking. The led system is really bright and no doubt will come in handy during those dark evening walks.
