A Birdhouse In The Hand!

Today we found 16 cents in change and 25 bottles and cans.

Well, it was back to the colder weather today and it looks like winter is finally setting in. We really can’t complain though as we had a warm and delightful first half of January. That saved us some dollars on the heating bill and made for great days outdoors. Now we just need to patient while the snow and cold have their way. The countdown to Spring is on!

On The Money Front – We only found a total of 3 coins today but 2 of them were silver. Michele and Lexi found a nickel while out on their morning walk. It was located in the rite aid parking lot. She also picked up a really beat-up dime on Sherburne during her run to add to the total. The final coin was found at the car wash. It was on the ground next to one of the automatic washes and saved us being shutout. In addition, we did come up with a fair number of bottles and cans and one interesting little ornament (see picture).
