The End And The Beginning…

Well we’ve made it through one month of winter and slipped quietly into another, albeit a shortened one. I always think of February as the last gasp of the cold weather, a month
of continuously longer days that begin to chip away at it’s icy grip, finally breaking the seal that signals the warmer days ahead, just not soon enough for my liking.

Coin Update – Here’s the rundown for the last couple of days

Wednesday – We found 16 cents in change and 6 bottles.

The evening walk proved to the game saver. We found one penny in the rite aid parking lot, and then at the car wash we came with another 14 cents (1 dime and 4 pennies). Three of the pennies were found in and around the vacuum areas, while the remaining dime and one penny were found close to the automatic wash area on the ground. At the 7-11 parking lot we though we’d found a dime but it turned out to be a fake coin, I just love those, but we did pick up one additional cent on Main Street at Luigi’s.

Thursday – We found 17 cents and 54 bottles and cans.

The evening walk once again bailed us out, averting a shutout. This time though all of the coins came from the car wash (2 nickels and 6 pennies). Each of the coins were found scattered about in the various vacuum bay areas on the ground.
